JOHN AND JANE BROOKS PARKS

We helped secure passage of a $10 million bond fund to purchase six beaches in St. Lucie County, including John Brooks Beach Park and Jane Murray Riverside Park in 1989, named for two of our Founders.

The Conservation Alliance of Saint Lucie County is a non-profit, non-partisan, non-political organization with the primary objectives as follows:

  • To take such actions as will advance the mission statement of the Alliance, which is “We pledge to protect the water, soil, air and native flora and fauna upon which all earth’s creatures depend for survival.”

  • To take such actions as are consistent with the motto of the Alliance, which is to promote “Wise use and not abuse of our land and resources.”

  • To protect the environment and ecology of St. Lucie County.
